My one month old baby do sleep in day time and whole night he wants to sleep only in my lap . He demands frequent feed in night . My brests are paining be coz he doesn't stop sucking . Is this means that I have not produce enough milk for him . Can I start feeding him with bottle which are anti colic . Hi has your baby regained the birth weight. If yes, then feed continues on demand. It is common for new borns to feed frequently. It is called cluster feeding.please google it to know more. It does not mean u r not producing; enough. It is the baby's way to communicate it's needs to your body.You will take 6-7 weeks to adjust the demand supply of feed. Cow's milk should not be given till baby is 1 year old. U need to visit your baby's pediatrician & only then take a decision if formula is needed. As far as sleeping on the lap is concerned..baby is very young & needs security. Try shifting him to the bed once he is deep <u>i</u>n sleep. U can also try to feed in lying down position that will give u some rest. Please google .
