Pain is absolutely not normal. Breast feeding is supposed to be relaxed and pain free. The latch on the right side could be a cause for concern. It also appears that there could be a cut or an injury. Please do visit a Lactation specialist.

Initially we feel pain when baby latch for milk. Check whether you are feeding properly or not. Sometimes a wrong position or wrong way of latching will cause severe pain. Consult with lactation expert.

Hello geetha, i had the same problem like yours. And i applied sesame oil before takinv bath in the nipples. I felt much relieved

use "nipcare" ointment 3/4 times a day after  feed. plz wash nipple before feeding.

may b there is any cut in ur nipple use nip cream
