My sis is unable to breastfeed her newborn. Should she be worried about her baby's immunity if the breastfeed is stopped by 6 months?

There's no reason to worry about your baby's immunity if you stop breastfeeding after 6 months. Even WHO suggests that a baby should be breastfed uptil 6 months and later it's a personal call of a mother and her child if they want to continue with the breastfeeding journey. After 6 months the immunity can build through including seasonal fruits , veggies, formula milk in baby's diet. However, be sure to choose a formula milk which is closest to breast milk. Check with your pediatrician on which foods are the best for your baby.

It's better for the baby to be fed breastmilk as long as possible. If that doesn't work somehow, opt for a formula that cobtains prebiotics for better digestion and immunity.

Not really. She can go for a good formula milk that can boost the immunity of the body as well. We are giving Aptamil to my nephew at home.
