Its fine! Ask ur hubby to call u mama repeatedly; in presence of baby. He will surely copy his father☺

My kid started off with papa...he seldom said maa and only when repeatedly asked to...but now he mostly follows his mother around the whole house saying "mummy"... It's too cute...He's 14 months old...!! At 10 months he could say baba, papa, mama, nana!!

Hi mommy
This is jus a mere expectation that u r eagerly waiting for ur kid to address u mama.; But it's so normal for a baby to say words like papa which ever he feels like communicating.
It would atleast take 18moths to say few words n that too not very clearly.; At the age of two, ur kid will start talking a bit., like framing simple sentences n few words clearly.
Don’t worry.

He is very little to understand the meaning of his words. Most of the babies start their speaking journey with the word 'papa' cause it is easy to speak..pa pa..so don't worry..slowly and gradually he will address you as mumma..and then there will be no stopping!!.:)
