my son is 2 months 10 days old. he doesn't look in the direction of sound or if anybody calls him. he continues looking at same point. is it normal?

hey prachi.. dear relax.. there's nothing to worry..baby is just 2 months old.<br>
give your baby time.. every baby needs his own time.. just keep talking to your baby calmly.. love your baby.. sing rhymes or lullabies.. slowly baby will start responding to sounds..<br>

u need not worry..till 3 mths child wil just awaken or move with sudden sounds..after 3 mths only child wil recognize mother's voice...if the hearing screening done at time of birth was normal u can sit relaxed and see him or her developing these skills gradually...localizing sound source without neck ctrl which is achieved by 3 mths is impossible..and name call response is also not what u expect so soon...hope this clarifies your doubt..
