Tastes have to be developed and it takes time. If you haven't given him any till now or not encouraged it then chances are he has not developed the taste. Make him try a little every day. Even if he refused ask him to try just a bite. Over a few weeks he will start accepting new flavors that you have tried. He is now old enough for you to enforce the concept of atleast trying one bite.
