My son who's 6 1/2 months now is making it very hard for me to feed him. There's no demand feed and still I go with the time and forcefully feed him( which he resists now while asleep) every 3-5 hourly out of which he only drinks half of it. He has got this habit of using pacifier. He sleeps by it, calms down with it. I want to make him stop using the pacifier. Even if I think of making him feed on demand then he can stay hungry for more than 6 hours and still doesn't cry. And he only drinks while asleep and that too only half of it.

Please suggest what should I do? He doesn't look like he's six months old now though he was premature. I really want him to start drinking milk while awake and on demand every three hourly at least. And desperately want to get rid of the pacifier
P.S He still doesn't recognize his mother 😥😖
