i would suggest, dont even touch sweets during pregnancy being borderline diabetic, it only increases the chances of complications for you and the unborn child. Take stevia, its safe, you can make sweets at home with stevia if you have a sweet tooth, but avoid free sugars, maida, oily stuff at all costs, coz pregnancy puts a lot of pressure on the body..and digesting sugar in pregnancy, body has to work overtime producing hormones which might disturb the equilibrium of pregnancy support..i can tell you this as i was not even borderline diabetic but was under doubt to be one, and after managing sugar , i managed the pregnancy without complications, Good Luck

kritika it is about developing a habit of saying no to sweets. Everytime u say no u r getting stronger and honestly doing a favor to urself and ur baby!
Don't let a single piece of sugary stuff break your strength :)
this is how I have given up on sweets due to gestational diabetes! it is difficult but doable.
