My Travel Partner: Travelled solo for the first time by flight with my 6 month old boy..

To all those mums planning to travel alone, go ahead.. It's pretty smooth. Trust me.

I was little sceptic first but when I reached the airport everything went smoothly.

I travelled from Delhi to Pune. At the ticket counter itself I mentioned that I would require assistance. Since I was carrying a pram I required help to fold and unfold it during security check in. So, I didn't have to wait in queue for security check in and the help folded and unfolded the pram. Then he accompanied me till the boarding gate(waiting area). Btw, pram goes for free and you can carry it till boarding. I handed over the pram while boarding the flight. And was given back the pram when I reached my destination. So the journey was pretty comfortable.

I fed my baby before boarding and while in the plane he latched and then slept nicely for the next 2 hours.

I asked for a window seat. Also, while travelling alone it's preferred that you wear a maternity top. It's hassle free and much easier..
