My Version of Momos--For Mom to Be

Karuna Gandhi
Make a dough with half atta and half maida.; Add a lunch of salt and a spoon of oil to two cups of atta maida mix.; Let this rest in a wet cloth or cling wrap.;

Shred veggies such as onion,; carrots and cabbage or shred onion and chicken; to minute bits. Add chopped garlic and ginger.; Add salt to this and saute till done.; You can spice it up with Schezwan sauce if you want. The mix must not be too dry.;

Roll bit sized Puris and fill these up with the mix. Grease them. Use a mom steamer to steam till done.;

For the chutney, I generally take some mayo, chilli flakes,; garlic paste and tomato chilli sauce and blend until smooth.; This is my version.;

For the soup,; I make a light chicken or veggie broth and thicken to taste, with cornflour.; I season up with pepper, salt. That's all. Tada!!;
