My wife has been diagnosed with a low lying placenta in her 13th week tests. Also the doctor has stated that we are at risk of 1:300 for Trisomy21. She is 33 and her NT was 1.2mm. Glad if someone could lay bare what does this mean? Should we be worried? Also her blood sugar is little on the higher end. She is 33. Thank you all.

Thanks @616d5a27c1b4770013bcb718 for the reply. Well since we both stay alone, I have made her laddoos after a baby chakra post out of Jaggery , ghee, almong and peauts. She has one of them everyday. Hope that is okay or else I will ask her not to ..
Secondly, the doc says no to excercise. She is very keen to, but the doc has asked us to avoid it. She feels restless.
Thank you for your time Ma'am.

Hi..
Firstly, dont worry about low lying placenta- it will move upwards gradually when pregnancy progress, just keep a check on any kind of spotting or bleeding
Second- the NT is absolutely normal, i would suggest to go for quadraple test to know the detail thing about the risk factor..
Third- if blood sugar is higher side, follow sugar free diet, regular walks, drink more water and also keep a regular check on blood sugar levels..
