Turmeric Plant at home

Common Names: Indian saffron, haldi.
Turmeric has its origins most likely in India but today it is common throughout Southeast Asia, China and southern Australia but can be found in most tropical regions of the world.

Turmeric is obtained from the roots of the plant. It can be used fresh, dried or mixed with other herbs. Turmeric mixed with ginger & honey helps in recovering from cough, cold and sinus. Application of only turmeric or turmeric mixed coconut oil/besan/milk/cream nourishes one's skin and works wonders in maintaining the smoothness of baby's skin. Once, your baby is old enough to consume solid foods, you may introduce turmeric in the food cooked in minimum quantity.

If you have a turmeric plant at home, water it for about an year, change soils, put organic compost, and then maybe after a year and half you can harvest them, sun dry them, powder it and give it to your baby. Your organic turmeric powder is here. I AM SURE IT IS WAY BETTER THAN THE STORE BOUGHT ONES!!!
