#Mysustainableworld#babychakra#bumberry . When we talk about environmental sustainability we simply mean a system of life where we are able to maintain a harmony with the nature. But to maintain this harmony we need to have two important things that is ‘CONNECT’ and ‘Empathy’, why I stressed on these two because these are directly linked to human emotions and emotions bring care, love and harmony. So from very early age we need to instil these two things in our kids and while instilling these habits in our kids ,we need to be very watchful of our own conduct for examples :-
1️⃣ If they see us throwing garbage on road, they are going to do the same. So always carry a garbage bag ,where you can keep your waste until you find a dustbin.
2️⃣ For instilling love for nature, You need to keep them close to nature. Let them explore, get dirty and wet. You can also introduce the story of Dr. Jagdish Chandra Bose who brought to the world the fact that plants also have emotions and feelings. I remember how I got moved when I first heard his story and after that I use to spend my time talking and touching plants it was my favourite thing to do as a child. 3️⃣ Take them to park and tell them the story of animals, plants and nature and spend some quality time with them.
4️⃣ Ask them to put an earthen pot on balcony or at gate and help them fill the pot with the remaining water in the bottle when they return from school. I often see kids have the habit of throwing that little water and refilling it. So this habit will help them learn the value of water. 5️⃣ People who are using cooler can put the pipe of Ro water in the water space, you will be amazed to see that with the waste water you can run your cooler without all filling hassle. I personally do it and it saves a lot water and effort to refill the water. It is easier to do if the ro placement done accordingly. 6️⃣ Finally adopt a tree or plant take all charge and nourish it. SAVE IT FOR THE NEXT GENNERATION.
