#NationalReadABookDay

I try to help my maid & cook in whatever small way possible. A few months ago my maid asked where u cud get storybooks from? My children want to read and improve their english. So i said u dont worry about that. Every day i will give u a book for ur 3 kids to read (ages 10, 11, 12yrs).

I started giving her thin easy to read books that they cud enjoy. These are books ini read when she was around 6 or so, bit i knew they needed to start from an easy level.

They've read all of ini's toddler books and now we pick thin books (in picture) for them from the small library my husband picks his mags from!

How do u try and promote reading as a habit? Do share.

ps: on any child's bday we gift books!

well the profession I am in, I always always encourage my students to read whatever they can lay their hands on . . a book , a magazine . . an article . . Friday lectures are discussions on things we read instead of the routine course work.
