It was awesome watching Lion king with Diva and Hubby and my neighbor and her kids yesterday !
The movie had its unique way of conveying things to the kids .. Which I kept telling Diva during the movie ( see this is what I say ) intermittently 😊😊
The Lion cubs including Simba are really cute ! All the animals look so agile ! I loved the caring attitude of Zazu the bird ..

It was entertaining as well as enlightening ..
A few take away from the movie especially for kids of the growing age ...
1. Listen to your parents and follow the instructions . Many a times Simba ventured beyond the boundaries and to secluded areas and gets into trouble, though he is saved by Mighty Dad Mufasa.
2. Simba was misguided regularly by Uncle Scar and he kept telling Simba to venture out to the abandoned areas and also telling him that it was their little secret .. Simba kept it to himself and dint share it with parents or even Dad Mufasa . One should always come back and share all the secrets with parents first .
3. Eating habits : Though Simba was a Lion he started eating small insects with his friends and gradually adjusted to the environment and the habitat change . Thus our body can adapt to any kind of change in habits especially food habits so let's inculcate good food habits !
4. When Mufasa was teaching Simba the qualities of a king a real leader he showed him his empire and said .. What ever the light touches ... Simba said Dad I can take what ever I want .. What ever the light touches is mine ?? To this he replied : why do you want to take .. A king gives .. A leader is there to take care of his entire empire ..you are not suppose to take but give ... I just loved this dialogue !! Loved the way he was training his little cub to become the King someday ..
5. Hakuna Matata!! : This is the very essence of life , it means No worries no troubles .. It's the happiness Mantra that everyone should follow for a happy life !!
On a lighter note : today I was trying to wake up Diva and asking her to take a bath .. To this I said .. You want to go for a bath or o shall I come n give a Simba style bath .. She smiled and woke up and rushed .. ( you need to watch the movie for this riddle 😊😍)
