Recipe : Arhar dal , you can mix moong dal too.
Vegetables required potato , raw papaya , raw banana, beans , pumpkin , Brinjal, cauliflower etc . You can add any vegetable you have . Boil the dal and the vegetables to just cook along with haldi and salt . After it's cooked keep aside . You can add little coconut too in the grated from . Now the tadka :
1. Normal tadka including crushed garlic , jeera, mustard seeds , red chili and curry pata . Add roasted And powdered Jeera after the tadka to the Dal..
2. The one to have during fast , here you can either avoid tadka or add just add one tsp of ghee and panch phutan( jeera, mustard, kalonji , Methi , saunf ) red chili ,curry leaves and use as tadka This includes all the daily requirements of vitamins and protein due to the presence of Dal and all other essential vegetables ..
