Good morning dears , here goes my first post in the sets of a small and a happy town in Orissa known as Sambalpur..The era dates back to somewhere around the late 70s....

Once upon a time , there lived two love birds Prem and Geeta .. They were so much in love that He had to sacrifice his Army posting just Because Her family dint want her to go and stay far away and She had to sacrifice her education just because they were suppose to get married early !!
Yes they are my lovely parents who are so much in love even today !! Could not find a better start to this takeover than this Positive and Lovely story ...
They dreamt and sang .. Jhil mil sitaron ka angan hoga , rhimjim barasta sawan hoga.. Prem ki gali Maine Ek ghar banayenge..
I was born to them on the 11 th of November and tithi was Laxmi Puja a very auspicious day in Orissa in the month of Margashir.
My granny was very happy about it . Here I must talk about the beautiful relationship of my Mom and my Granny shared jiski dastan Aaj bhi sunai jati hai ... They were best of companions who went to all shadis together, shopping and movies too together!! The flower, actually the similar flower they wore was their speciality !!
I grew up in almost a joint family type atmosphere where I was the eldest child in both the sides that is my Mommys place and Papas place so much in demand as no other competition ha ha ... The favourite and spoilt child till date even if after me the house has been full of kids ..
I prayed for a cute little brother my best friend and got him when I was 3 years old .. He was as cute as a teddy bear . Someone whom I thought was my property .. I could scold , beat up , eat his chocolates, take away his pocket money saying Tum paison ka Kya karoge.. Ha ha !

Or may be I will return it to you when I grow up .. And I never grew up till date :-)

The bond I share with my brother is beyond words ...
How many of you are elder ones in the family ?? and what are your favourite childhood memories as the first child and your relationship with the chota bhai/ behen ???
