East is my home Orissa , the soul of increxibble India ..I; love everything about it , the natural beauty , the costume especially Sambalpuri Saree , the food , festivals , wildlife , flora and fauna and beaches !!



The konark temple is one of its kind the *Sun temple which the world recognizes as an epitome of scientific and monumental work .

The Puri Jagannath temple is one of our Char Dham .There are many astonishing facts about the Jagannath temple and the aura could be felt from a long distance too!!
The Chilika lake is a brackish water lagoon and is the second largest lagoon in all over the world .The dolphins are a treat to the eyes !!
The shimlipal tiger reserve and the Satkosia Tiger reserve are main tourist attractions for the wild life lovers .They also house other animals like the elephant , Sambar, deer , Nilgai etc ..
The Hirakud Dam in Sambalpur; is built across the river Mahanadi is one of the lo best Dam of the world .
Of course the food !!Orissa is famous for its sweets like Chena poda and Rasgulla , the Dalma is highly nutritious .Many such delicacies which are over by people all over the country ..
The Odissi Dance is one the famous classical dances of India. The costume the filigri silver jewellery and the grace is matchless !! The most famous is the Dusavatara which depicts the 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu .
The Sambalpuri Saree is loved by women all over the world.Our late prime minister Indira Gandhi used to wear it several times and many if our leaders do take pride in wearing it even today .The cotton and silk forms are simply adorable !!
Well so many things in my mind and can go on and on about it !
East is truly blessed that's all I can say and a must visit for everyone at least once and the warmth of the people will make you revisit !!😊😊💐💐
