I am usually called 'a paranoid mother of twin toddlers' . Be it worrying about their milestones, or weight gain or food intake, I always keep worrying about their growth and progress. My New Year Resolution for my kids is simple - 'I will let my kids be'. No more running after them to get tasks done. No more worrying about not eating enough. I realised I have been becoming an 'overprotective mom'. So this coming year, I would want to be a 'cool mom'. I will take a 'chill pill' and let my kids be their self. I will try my best to let them explore their world their way and not bog them down with my worries and expectations. My aim is to provide them with loads of opportunities and a positive environment that enables learning. And then take a back seat and let them grow at their own pace and peace! Wish me luck, for I know it isn't easy! 😉
