Lets talk about maternal/maternity rights tonight. What rights for a expecting or a new mother should be given to make our lives easier?
I think the society should be more considerate for a expecting woman's career.
Maternity leave should be 1 yr or breastfeeding rooms and creches at all work places or compulsory paternity leaves for expecting dads and new dads etc.

There should be some flexibility at work place like work from home option for breastfeeding mother's.

I think all new mothers should have right to breast feeding assistance and counsellor.

In some of the countries like canada the maternity leaves are upto 14months. Yes. Baby rooms, facilities such as creche in the same office complex and flexibility to breastfeed etc must be given.
