There is a clear matte circle for preventing the lips to get air locked while sucking which is the second major plus point of this nipple. Many a times I have seen my baby struggling to get a breath while sucking rapidly without rest but it gets air locked and bubble are released into the bottle as soon as the air lock is realised. That doesn't happen with mother's breast skin. But ninio has intelligently and carefully changed the texture of the rim of the nipple where the lips will hold the nipple into a matte or a little bit rough textured circumference for the lips to glide on with ease while sucking.

As mentioned on the pack, three types of ninio nipples are available small (0-3) , medium (3-6) and large (6+) .

Its very important to use age appropriate nipples to avoid colic. Nipple change at 3 months and bottle change at 6 months is recommended.
Personally I am a fan of philips avent and dr. Brown feeding bottles. But the matte circumference has won my interest in this feeding bottle over the others. #AAM
