NO BARTER PLEASE !
Parents always want their kids to eat healthy & behave well. However in the process of providing them the best,do we realise we are coaching some inappropriate values just for a convenient parenting;that we r paying off to our kids for doing the right things OR making a barter to get things done? Y do we settle for their insane demands by making materialistic deals.
* If ur child is not eating the veggies u cooked, y do u have to make a SCREENTIME deal for finishing the food; y not tell them “Thats the dinner tonight,everyone eats this”, If they refuse,dont force! Give them time,trust me a hungry stomach will never throw tantrums until u give options📱❌
* If ur kiddo gives u a tough time at the hygiene regime or acts nasty to brush teeth & take a bath, y do u have to make an ICECREAM-CANDY deal for getting things of good values done. Y not educate them that “The germs may make u sick and mandates an unpleasant visit to the doctor”🍭❌
* If ur child gets rebellious to share his toys with other kids, y do u have to promise him a NEW TOY if he shares his; y not make him understand that “only if u share urs, others will share theirs & that only if they give-they get in return,as simple as that”🎮❌
*Who says kids don’t understand simple-straight talks. Infact always make sure u give them logical reasoning n not unnecessary pampering. Who says u have to talk to them in those childish babbles. Never underestimate ur baby, it’s understanding is much more than you think; it just depends on how u polish n mould them. Communicate with them with maturity,when u sound firm & sensible they will absorb the info much faster; that’s how u raise a mentally strong & confident child. After all,making deals with your children is equivalent to bribing. Never pay for making them do what’s ethical.. Ain’t we raised with an understanding that ‘Bribe’ is an immoral act. Think over it !
