Whether it's bad weather or an unsuitable time of the day, your kids won't always have the option of playing outside. Instead of making them play games on the computer or Xbox, do the following activities with them at home, and keep them entertained.

-Build a makeshift fort with blankets, bed sheets, pillows, chairs etc, along with your children. They can take their snack and drinks inside this cozy little play tent and spend hours by themselves, without getting bored.

Your child will not only get amused by indulging in some art and craft, but will also enhance his/ her creative skills. All you need is some coloured papers, buttons, glue, crayons etc. Give your child a project — a get-well-soon card for grandma or a nice welcome banner for home and make sure you supervise and give your inputs.

-Every child loves playing with clay. Your child can make shapes, human figures, etc and build a mini landscape. Just make sure that you confine him in one room or area, so that it doesn't get too messy.

-A very unique and fun activity to do indoors is playing fancy dress. Gather a few things like some clothes, make-up etc and ask your child to dress up — he/she could be a pilot, a chef or dance.
