Konkan, also known as the Konkan Coast or Kokan, is a rugged section of the western coastline of India. It is a 720 kilometres long coastline. It consists of the coastal districts of the western Indian states of Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka.;

This place is as traditional as modern.

All the cashew, kokum, mango, betel nuts that are high quality and are exported abroad are the local crops.
Now a days they even offer adventure sports and there are many forts, beaches and waterfalls that make this place a complete package.
I so wish to visit here once.
