1-Firstly wash the cucumber and peel it. Taste the cucumber before making the raita as sometimes it taste bitter. Cut into two parts and remove the seeds. Grate it using a grater.
2-add 1 cup whisked curd
3-also add mirch powder, roasted cumin powder, salt
4- give a good mix making sure the spices are mixed well.
5-finally, serve the cucumber raita along pulao or biryani
It is also a good source of calcium and vit D
