Oats Dhokla Sandwich
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
Cabbage - 80 grams
Carrots - 120 grams
Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
Cheese spread - 1 tablespoon
Mayonnaise - 200 grams
Semolina - 150 grams
Oats flour - 150 grams
Curd - 200 grams
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Fruit salt - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoon
Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 80 grams cabbage, 120 grams carrots, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon cheese spread, 200 grams mayonnaise and mix it well.
2. In a another mixing bowl, add 150 grams semolina, 150 grams oats flour, 200 grams curd, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon salt, 300 milliliters water and mix it well.
3. Add 1 teaspoon fruit salt and mix it again.
4. Pour the batter into a steamer dish and place it into a steamer.
5. Cover it with lid and steam for about 15 minutes.
6. Remove it from it and place it on a board.
7. Spread the prepared mixture on it.
8. Cover it with another piece of dhokla.
9. Cut it into squared shapes. Keep aside.
10. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1 tablespoon mustard seeds, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds and stir for 1 - 2 minutes.
11. Pour this tempering over the dhokla.
12. Serve.
