Oh you don't speak English with your child?? 🤔🤔

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️Raise your hands if you have ever faced a similar judgmental question even once in lifetime (My apologies in advance, if you are the one who asks it 🙈🙈)

For past few years, there has been a fad for raising English speaking kids and trust me I totally appreciate it if you are doing so to prepare them for settling in some foreign country or for having brighter future prospects!!
But.. but.. the big question is why are we giving up on our mother tongue?
Just like festivals and traditions, our language also represents our heritage!! Is it a shame in owning and celebrating ones own culture???🤔🤔
Trust me, wherever you may go.. whatever you may do, every individual needs to have strong connection with their roots .. that's who we are so, don't deprive your kids of that!!
Why not raise Bilingual or multilingual kids?? Yes... children as young as 1 year or may be younger have the ability to grasp and understand words from different languages.. and don't worry, it won't confuse them!! In fact, multilingual kids are smarter and more well-adjusted!!

So go ahead, don't shy away from teaching your own mother tongue to children!!❤❤
