Hello my sister is blessed with a baby boy the baby is 8 days old . In the hospital the baby was fed formula as she had a C section. The baby is used to formula and doesn't latch at all and cries his lungs out to have bf please suggest what can be done.

I was having the same problem since my baby was premature born..and was in nicu...BT I kept trying always.. lastly she latches after a month ..BT mean that time I use to express my milk by using pump

ya its if he is her first child it also be difficult for her make him breast feed even i deliverd the child one month back n this is my second issue still i was having problem in bf but keep on trying baby is too small but once he vl know how to feed the problem vl solve but this should be done by gr8 patience

Breastfeeding needs lot of patience and staying calm is very important. Do not let the baby go hungry, tell her to keep trying to latch her baby. She should also spend time snuggling up with her baby. when she is giving her baby top feed she should hold him close to her n feed him.
