One of my neighbour bhaiyya's nickname was "Peepee".; I heard many calling him by the name. This got me curious and I asked my mom why was he called so. To; this, my mom told me the following story:

When bhaiyyaji was a small kid, he was playing with a squeaky toy,; the one which goes "peepee" when squeezed(yup, we all know that one!).; Apparently, somehow bhaiyyaji swallowed the squeaky noise making thing, that small plastic thing, and it got stuck in his throat. Everytime bhaiyyaji opened his mouth to speak, all that came out was the "peeee-peeee" noise. Terrified,; bhaiyyaji's mother and someone else took him to the doctor in an auto rickshaw. Every time the auto jumped or shook,; bhaiyyaji would squeak "peeee-peee" with the jerks. Finally, the auto jumped violently as it crossed a bad patch of damaged road and out flew the "pee-pee" from bhaiyyaji's throat (jai indian roads!). This story spread through the neighbourhood and bhaiyyaji's name was upgraded to "Peepee".

While the story gave us more than one occasions to laugh at the poor man's predicament, it also serves as a reminder to keep things that kids can choke on at bay and to keep an eye on what our kids are playing with.
