One of the most exciting moment in pregnancy is when you feel first little flutters of your baby kicking. You should feel your baby's; first movments called "quickening " between 16 to 25 weeks of pregnancy. If this is your first pregnancy you may feel your baby movements closer to 25 weeks. By second and third trimesters the movements should be more distinct and u'll be able to feel your baby's kicks, jabs and elbows.

Yes, this is the best thing. I think my babies are still working on sleeping pattern as someday they are active in  night and other days during days. For me also they stop kicking once I touch them.
