Our family friend's eight year old daughter with whitish complexion wants to be fair and look beautiful. Don't know from where she got this knowledge. Is it a matter of concern or am I just over thinking? ? Comments please .

It happens. Motherhood is altogether a journey. Now we will understand...why our moms were so much concerned about us.

You need to tell and convince baby to think other way round. Mother should guide that being beautiful is important. Our thinking, our nature and our thoughts make us beautiful. Not the skin. Infact dark skin is more appealing and says...you are strong inside. Proper guidance at this age is required...rather than trying new creams or worrying regarding it.
