I tk her to bed around 10.30 be4 that she is not sleepy. Then rights off helps them feel tht it's time to sleep.. I have sing her fev rhymes one by one until she sleeps or little cozy play. It's takes tm but being mother just you can kiss ur baby if thy get a nice sleep:)

Ok, so here goes... Baby is his active best at bedtime. So I and husband both play with him, let him crawl all over us. This pretty much tires him out(that's what I think, not my baby 😁). A light massage of the tiny little feet, wiping with wet wipes, change into fresh clothes later, he will be as active as ever. A little reading and a big feeding, now he realizes that mommy means business. Then I pick baby in my arms and he is all smiles, but as soon as I gently rock him and sing a lullaby he is trying to squirm and squeals(sounds like "No, No"). At the 3rd song husband starts snoring(my elder baby😛) and at the 5th song my little baby is out for the night. I believe routine should be established from as early as possible.

well when he was small and didn't move it was the easiest. sponge him make him wear his night clothes song him a few songs and turn lights out ... now since he's older the routine changes .. brush wash hands and face change into night clothes switch of the light and sing a few bedtime songs and sleep . . it's imp to have a ritual as they know it's time to sleep

I try my best to follow a routine. 9 pm means activity and play stops. A nice bed time story. Teeth brushing . And lights out. But when papa comes back from office its an extended play time for him

Ha ha ha ... the moment someone ask me about this... I feel like... "wait, let me think." My baby will be suddenly get active and starts jumping, singing. I feel she does this to avoid sleeping. If she sleeps she miss her play. After continuous telling her ....she will say... " ek kahani bolo..." And that kahani is like Megha-episodes..never ending. While I am saying stories...( at times I am short of stories and will make my own also) I hear my husband snoring. Then I think my baby is silent so , time for me to sleep. Then that lil voice again... " bolo kahani...'. After hours of story telling.... she will tell me... " stop. Security guard aayega. chupchap so jao". And she will sleep. In this circus.... I am left all alone, with no sleep...and wide awake. :D
