For post workout muscle soreness avoid applying or rubbing any pain relief as it gies away by itself. Taking a warm water bath or steam shower is a good option to relax your muscles. try doing that and include vitamin rich juices or fruits in your diet post workout.

Better not to use any thing for muscle soreness post workout. It will go away in some days and once your body gets used to workouts.
