@616d59f2c1b4770013bcb6fd I hear you girl! We have all been through it. Very well advised by all here. All I can say is hang in there. I have had days when I have looked like a raccoon! Rest when the baby sleeps. @6372999217d2c800158d8bec has some really nice tips on how to put down the baby to sleep. I had also shared a youtube link on my profile recently on how to calm a cranky baby. It does get better gradually :-) Take care love!

Sharmistha what you are facing is very typical. Passing pee and poop does not mean your baby is hungry immediately. This is a myth. A baby at one week is still learning how to feed and also feels very comforted at the breast which is why they tend to fall asleep. Keep your baby unswaddled while feeding and encourage baby to finish the feed. If baby is fussing after being put down try other calming techniques. Babies cry for many reasons other than just wanting to be fed. Finally your back pain is due to incorrect posture. I would recommend supporting your back and arms with adequate pillows, using a nursing pillow with a firm back support if possible and while feeding ensure your over all comfort. You can have a Lactation counselor come home to get all these things corrected. These services are very easily available in cities like Mumbai.
