Podar jumbo kids is the first school in India to introduce the Finnish curriculum to their students.


Some days back I had the opportunity to visit the newly opened Podar jumbo kids platinum. While I was aware of Podar jumbo kids in general, I was in for a pleasant surprise to know that podar jumbo kids platinum has adapted a different concept to shape our young minds of the future.



They have teamed up with Nordic Baccalaureate to introduce the Finnish method of teaching. Surveys reveal that the children are happiest in finland as their method of teaching is the most engaging, fun and stress free.



Now who wouldn't want their child to be happy?? When asked, I got to know a lot of things that differed this method from the traditional methods of teaching.

Firstly, children of age 2-6yrs are in the same class which increases peer teaching and learning, open mindedness among them.

Each child is let to learn at their own pace irrespective of their age.

The children get trained to be independent and learn life skills and daily skills.

Apart from books they are given a lot of hands on experience and activities to understand concepts as simple as calculations.

Mindfulness is a part of their daily routine.

Parent volunteer programs help in engaging the parents as well.
