Pointillism is a painting technique in which small dots of color are applied to form an image.
This video however is not the exact Pointillism technique but utilising the same concept of coloring with q-tips.
.
Here we tried a couple of cotton buds to make cluster of flowers and leaves.
.
The same design can be made by single q-tip as well.
.
Other patterns that can be formed easily for younger kids are Rainbow, Alphabets, Nature Scene etc.
.
Age: 3+
.
Benefits:
- Hand-Eye coordination
- Finger muscles strengthening
- Grip with fingers
- Imagination
- Patience
.
This is a scientific technique based on science of optics to create colors from many small dots placed so close to each other that they blur into an image to the eye.
.
Please Note- this video is not exact representation of Pointillism technique.
