#PositivePeer My childoo has just started 5th std this week - secondary school! New building, new teachers, new rules! Lots of excitement and even more apprehensions (teachers are supposed to be more strict now!).
So every day as she comes back from school I am eager to know the new developments. Y'day she was super excited and shared this with me:
"Mom, in Value Education class, I have volunteered to be a Positive Peer, but since there are a few children interested, they will decide by drawing a chit."
Me: "What does the Positive Peer have to do?"
She: "Things like cheering someone up, picking up some paper from the floor, you know, positive things! They even mentioned that there will be no special badge or recognition (she takes a few seconds to pronounce it correctly!) for this post. And I told them, it's okay, all that doesn't matter to me."
And then she smiled. And I gulped.
In her innocence, she had reminded me one of life's most important lessons.
But more than that, the concept of #PositivePeer kept coming back to me the entire day. That's when I realised, each one of us here is a #PositivePeer. Each one of us strives to help another mom, in some small way or another, positively. Aren't we all each other's #PositivePeers?
Big shoutouts to all of you, who bring positive energy to all of us on the BabyChakra community. Do tag some #PositivePeer moms in the comments, whose posts you love reading and look fwd to....
[ps: while she was explaining the whole concept i clicked a pic. she knows her mom is click nuts :)]

Such a thoughtful child she is Asha! Please give her a warm cuddly hug from Aditi Aunty :-) And also tell her that she has a gorgeous smile just like her mumma. Its a beautiful concept started by her school. Let's hope more and more people become aware of this. I want to thank every person who tagged me. And I tag every single mom and mom to be on baby chakra who are so very helpful to everyone. Such an amazing community we have here. Every single mom is a positive peer. Much love and hugs to everyone and especially to you <span style="color:#3B5998;"><b> @63729b593f31520016a69b80 </b></span> 😘💖
