Post a C-section delivery, besides taking ample rest, maintaining overall health, and adapting to breastfeeding, one important thing to do is to take care of the c-section incision (stitches). While doing so there are a few things to avoid in order to prevent incision/ wound infection.
- Avoid wearing tight clothes.
- Avoid applying oils and body lotions on the wound.
- Avoid swimming pools and hot tubs.
- Avoid scratching the area around the wound.
- Avoid applying hot or cool packs on the wound.
- Avoid keeping the wound open as long as it's advised by the doctor. #csection#csectioncare#postdeliverycare#seemasays
