Pour Rub Pour: The role of kids in advertising debate...
So we've all loved the DAAG ACHHE HAIN campaign. It's so apt. Kids will be kids and moms need not get stressed anymore.
So when I looked at this ad, I wonder why i found the child saying "pour rub pour" unnecessary?! The mom could've. Would it make the ad less attractive? Or do kids trouble their moms and say, Pour Rub Pour wala detergent khareedo mummy??
I dunno. I want to hear your reactions...
Are there any other tv commercials where you find the use of children unnecessary? Do share your views!

Ads always target the children as they're easier to influence! If it's cute I enjoy. However, there are few ads that could be so annoying and misleading!Even if its for marketing,it's hightime people start to act responsible and be sensible!

I think kids are probably "used" in the ads so other kids would mimic them and influence their parents to buy the products . . I think grown ups might enjoy the ad with a kid in it and find the kid cute but will not necessarily buy the product just because the kid in the ad was cute

My shopping depends on the necessity and reviews about the product. Aanya gets influenced by the ads on TV and she wants to buy things.

scaring and emotional blackmail is base of any ad....as a consumer anything which is hitting my emotions will definitely attract but buying will obviously depends on many factors like competitive price, offers, availability etc....but these ads leave impact for sure....have you seen the new ad series of LG and SAMSUNG? LG touch ad made me cry thinking of my father but I'm surely not buying 😉
