Pregnancy and The Husband I find it somehow unfair that the maximum documentation has happened around what the mom #expectingababy feels IN the preggers phase. While I have had friends and bloggers I know share their hubby's experiences and anxieties during #pregnancy , yet that has never been wholesome. For my husband, he is surprisingly eager for our baby to pee on him, to tenderly hold the LO carefully and admire endlessly, change nappies and also is ready for the flurry of appos and tests for the next few months. I feel lucky but am scared if such involvement will actually stay put it will be chicken out? What's your experiences buddies? Also for the already mommy brigade, how did your hubbies come along when you guys were expecting? #kolkatamoms @Richa@PV S@Kritika Lall@Ruth Timmy Verghese

My hubby use to feel the baby movements... He was the first one to hold our son..; and he was in tears when doc told him it's a boy and he went out crying to tell everyone..; .. he took him out to show our parents and was capturing all his immediate moments... He was with me in the OT as well.. though he never did diaper change n all stuff as till 4 months I was at my mum's place and later also when I was back he used to be busy with work.. but now he tries to do wat all he can do with our 5 yr old.. feed him play with him being his friend..

@616d9066791e5a0013a088c7 yes dear! Even my dad did all this for me. And my brother who recently became a dad is a doting father to his boy. I am so glad that slowly and gradually this is becoming the new normal!! Your husband will also be one of these dads..I am sure!

My hubby always wanted a girl so when Siya was born he went berserk. His happiness came out of his eyes when I first hugged him after her birth. Though he underwent a major operation days before her birth but that did not stop him from rocking her to sleep or changing her diapers or giving her a massage or bathing her. He has been there for her always and I know he can take care of her the way I do. He also prepares meals for her when our maid is absent. He even combs her hair and send her to school when I am busy with some work. He is a hands-on dad and I secretly admire him a lot for that.
