It's very important to eat right and healthy during pregnancy so I am bringing one healthy and tasty recipe for all moms to try out. Please do try and let me know your experience in the comments section.
Oats Idli Recipe:
INGREDIENTS
1;cup;rolled oats roasted and powdered in mixer grinder

½;cup;rava( semolina, suji )

½;cup curd
Below ingredients are used for tempering

3;tsp;oil

Mustard seeds

Urad dal

Chana dal

Cumin seeds

Curry leaves

Ginger paste

2;green chillies finely chopped, you can add more if you need spicy

1;carrot,;grated

Pinch of Turmeric

Coriander,;finely chopped

Salt as per taste

Some cashew cut into;halves

½;tsp;eno fruit salt regular or ½ tsp baking soda
INSTRUCTIONS
First in a kadai heat oil and splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds and;few curry leaves. Add ginger paste and green chilly, saute slightly. Add;grated carrot and turmeric and saute for 2 minutes.

Next add rava and roast on low flame until it turns aromatic. Add roasted powdered oats and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool completely.

Now add curd and water slowly as required, make sure there are no lumps. Then add coriander and salt. Mix to get idli batter consistency.

Rest for 20 minutes or until the rava absorbs water. You can add more water if necessary to get the consistency.

Just before steaming idli add ½ tsp eno or ½ tsp baking soda and mix well.

Steam the oats idli for 15 minutes on medium flame.

Yummy and healthy oats idli is ready, you can have it with chutney or sambar.
