The image gives reasons why one feels backaches, leg and thigh cramps, lower abdominal pressure, stretched feeling and pain sometimes in abdomen area and sometimes in waist area during late pregnancy. The growing weight of the baby in the womb puts pressure on our vertebrae, specially lumber vertebrae and also some pressure in nerves leads to this.
Remedies are:
1. Wear comfortable footwear and avoid heels for sometime.
2. Avoid standing for long hours. Take breaks in between and sit. Also keep shifting your weight on both feet, and move your toes forward and backwards a bit while standing, as it reduces pressure on one foot and leg, improves blood circulation and thus helps avoid leg and foot carmps.
3. Drink plenty of water and fluids during day time and do not hold urine as uterus size has already increased and it presses other organs so excess pressure on bladder can cause stomach ache. Consuming water, buttermilk, lemonede, coconut water etc will not only keep you hydrated and remove toxins from the body regularly but also will maintain electrolyte balance in body which helps normalize nerve function.
4. Take back support while sitting and use pillows beneath your feet and legs while resting which will help maintain proper blood Supply to lower Vienna cavvae which is lower veins system and you won't feel your lower body aching when you get up after resting for few hours.
5. Things like hot water bottle sikai, OTC pain killer ointments can be applied for some relief but if pain is persistent and too much then show to doctor.
Any kind of bleeding or heavy discharge should be taken seriously.
