Quarantined and happy!

It has really bought Simra and I more close to each other. We have recently realised it’s not necessary to move out of home to enjoy life, sometimes we do need a change by moving out but it’s not essential. Distancing from people and getting closer to the ones whom we live with is all together a great feeling. We have also stopped eating junk which in a way leads to making healthy & yummy recipes at home..we made a pizza yesterday and Simra enjoyed helping me.

Simra and I spend most of the time reading books these days. Her favourite book these days is ‘The little dino’, she loves dinosaur so much that she wants me to get a dinosaur toy and also one more book containing dinosaurs. Now that’s a great thing she asked for..’a book’. Being quarantined has made her a book lover and enjoys reading the books again and again.

But there are times when she demands to go to garden and have some screen time...but I am keeping her involved in activities,messy plays,reading books and helping out in kitchen etc. Coming to the situation we are in, she’s too little to understand the virus and it’s consequences, I’d just say the parks are closed and everything else is shut down because it’s too hot outside and all the kids are happy being at home with their parents.So she understands that. And it’s more than enough for me right now..let’s see until when I can keep telling her this.
