there was a time when Nemit had scheduled rhyme time while I used to finish some chores, there was a time when I would leave Nemit with his Papa and go to the salon and during those 2 hrs(sometimes 3) they both would watch rhymes together & we were happy about it. then came a time when we met our doc and came to know about the negatives of screen time (luckily Nemit is not fond of mobiles) and we started working towards zero screen time. We are happy to achieve that. But few days back Nemit was not well and was being a lot cranky and we had to again resort to using rhyme distraction to keep him happy. I always try to find other ways to distract his mind and most of times I get success too but then there are always those bad days when nothing works except the Screen!

Yes, am guilty of this. But I think to each his own. If it seems to be the best solution for the moment, then why not. I use this when my kids cry inconsolably and aren't in the position to listen anything. When shown the video, they get distracted and it helps them to calm down.

My twin A is crazy about gadget, the other one doesnt care about electronics. <br> if we r out and the situation is really out of control.....only then we show rhymes or such things to my son on mobile. <br> and apart from this sometimes when i <u>want</u> to finish cooking fast i let them watch tv ( rhymes) while i cook.

I had used it sometimes as I was in great need... to make him wear spects and like them I had shown him rhymes sometimes... now it's not needed...
