Now, this isn't a rosy topic , but a much needed one. Atleast for the first time moms or nuclear family mother. I'm jotting this down because we had an accident at our place. Zaa touched the hot iron and screamed and cried terribly. How, why, ifs n buts apart to help us stay to the topic. Don't judge us as parents, it was something that happened in a jiffy without us to control it.
. However, Zaa drew her hand instantly but her hand had turned red. The palm and 5 finger tips of her right hand. The moment I got to know it's the iron and burns, I took an immediate action. Applied toothpaste (Colgate) all over her hand and blew on her hand to relieve pain. Put her to sleep and applied a thick layer of honey. This made a huge difference to her burns and saved her from almost 80% of the pain.

Few Tips that can be useful to handle burns
.
* Dip the hand instantly in the wheat flour box. The flour will stick to the body part and pull the burn and pain, saving the kid from terrible pains.
. * Apply colgate instantly if possible. Don't wash the part. May cause water filled boils. Colgate or toothpaste relieves from the burning sensation.
. * Use honey as a natural ingredient to apply on the burnt part to pull away excess pain and save severe boils to occur. It offers coolness to the skin. Apply gently.
. * Stay calm and don't panic :) This is infact the most important tip. It scares the kid and stops our brain from taking a quick action.
. * There are medicinal creams and ointments like burnol available too. Take the name of the cream when you visit your kid's doctor next. It's better to be aware of it, than having mini panic attacks .

Stay safe guys :) Hope this write-up helps. See yaa until my next post.
