Ingredients :
Ragi flour - ½ cup
Organic Jaggery powder - 1 to 2 tbsp (optional)
Coconut scrapped - 2 tbsp
Banana - 1 medium-sized (mashed)
Cardamom Powder - ¼ tsp
Cashews - 1 tbsp (optional)
Water - ¾ Cup
Ghee - 1 tsp
Preparation :
Measure ragi flour, coconut & Jaggery. Keep it ready.
Mash the bananas with a hand whisk or fork and set aside.
Add in coconut and jaggery powder.
Then add ragi flour and cardamom powder. Add water little by little.
The batter should be like regular dosa batter consistency neither too thick nor runny.
Finally, add cashews to the mixture and mix well. Set aside.
Heat the paniyaram or appe pan with few drops of ghee in each mold. Fill each mold to ¾th
Cover, cook and flip it for 5 mins in low flame.
Switch off the flame once done and transfer them to a plate.
Disclaimer: If feeding to baby under 12 months, do not add sugar or honey. You may use date puree for sweetening.
For babies, above 12 months, we recommend do not add white sugar, you may use honey, jaggery or date puree for sweetening.
