Ready to eat (baked) snacks industry is trying its best to come with snacking solutions. No doubt it doesn't require cooking and better than your fried namkeens, cream biscuits but still can't beat the fresh ones like boiled corn salad, chicken salad, quinoa salad, chana chaat, homemade dhokla, idli, natural nuts and seeds, whole eggs, etc.
These ready to eat packaged stuff might provide 100 calories only but are loaded with sodium and preservatives & some snacks do have high fat percentage and are also HIGH-CALORIE DENSE and do not provide SATIETY.
