On ghar ki public ki demand!! Ingredients 15o grams paneer cut into cubes and soaked in a little warm water
3 medium sized onions grated
2 big ripe tomatoes grated
Chopped green chillies as per taste
1 tea spoon chopped garlic
2 table spoon ginger garlic paste
2 table spoon butter
1/2 cup tomato puree
Oil and water for cooking
2 table spoon cream (optional) Spices
1 tea spoon sabut zeera
Salt and red chilli powder to taste
1 tea spoon turmeric powder
2 table spoon dhaniya powder
1/2 tea spoon pepper powder
1/2 tea spoon garam masala
2 table spoon kitchen king or any such masala
Chopped dhaniya or kasoori methi as per choice Method 1. Heat about 1 table spoon oil and 2 table spoon butter together in a heavy bottom kadai. Add sabut zeera to crackle. Then add chopped garlic and pepper powder and garam masala and stir well till garlic changes colour. 2. Now add grated onion and ginger garlic paste and saute till onion is brown. Then add grated tomatoes along with tomato puree and let it cook for few minutes. Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric and green chilies and cook till oil starts separating from gravy. Now add dhaniya powder and kitchen king and cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. 3. Now add paneer pieces and about 1.5 cups water. Cover with lid with ladle in between and cook till gravy is thick. Now add fresh dhaniya or kasoori methi or both as you like and add cream too. Garnish with little cream and serve hot!!
