Are colleagues considerate, over considerate? Indifferent or insensitive? What makes u want to hug them and what bugs u? Any tips for other expecting working moms to help them carry on normally at office? Pls share! TIA!!

yes I am working Asha di, and my colleagues are super considerate, my boss is very helpful. I have had few challenges but have been able to manage it through with support from my co-workers.
I think what is important is that everyone knows maternity act in detail.
I am in HR I often tell ladies not to treat pregnancy as a disease but the most awesome experience. sadly some ladies are not very blessed, I have myself had a poor history and in current pregnancy I had PIH, and Gestational diabetes. but with the support I have got from my co-workers things have been smooth.
I suggest that expecting mothers be open to their supervisor about pregnancy, I gave the news to my manager in week 6 and 'demanded' few support, like extended WFH, reduced office hours so that I could avoid mad traffic. and now I am full time working from home. my organization has been very supportive and hence I was able to get these perks.
not everyone is so lucky, if ladies in this group need support on how they should request work arrangements I will be more than happy to answer their queries.
