#Returing to work

Returning to work when your mind and body are still adjusting to the new normal of being a parent can feel overwhelming, stressful and exciting all at once.
✨Leaving your baby with someone at home can cause anxiety. You may be experiencing unwanted thoughts about the safety of your child, if your baby is missing you, or is she being cared for the way you would and many more awful thoughts make you feel guilty. Acknowledge your feelings without judgment, and then cry, laugh, journal or call a friend.
✨Try these to help you:

👉 Plan out your new morning routine

👉 If you can try a dry run a couple of days before you actually go back to work.

👉 Have a list or calendar with the week’s to-dos

👉 Write down your baby's schedule for your baby's caregiver

👉 If you are Breastfeeding, keep enough frozen breastmilk in the freezer

👉 if you plan to continue Breastfeeding, try pumping at work

👉 Ask your caregiver to update on your baby.

👉 Expect unforeseen challenges, like fever, cold, bouts of teething, bad weather.

👉 Ask for help when you need it

👉 Be kind to yourself. Take care of yourself. Take a breath and remember to forgive yourself.
